Fashion exhibitions have taken place at the most creative places possible and French fashion company Louis Vuitton’s latest exhibition See LV has gone imaginative as they launch the display on water.
Suspended on water, the temporary show is accommodated in a purpose-built space, next to the Dubai Fountain, in front of The Dubai Mall. After its debut in Wuhan, China, in 2020 and then Hangzhou in 2021, the exhibition is finally in the UAE and is open to the public.
The high-end luxury fashion house, in their collection, is showcasing objects from the maison’s archives with recent creations, allowing visitors to delve into the Louis Vuitton universe.
The exhibition welcomes visitors with a portrait of a young Louis Vuitton, conceived by artist Refik Anadol using AI. This is followed by men’s and women’s ready-to-wear pieces, starting with a multi-hued straight-cut dress and square pillow high boots by Nicolas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2021 collection.
As the exhibition is an immersive experience, visitors can expect plenty of interactive digital involvements which starts as soon as you enter the space.
The exhibition also has an Instagrammable space in the last room, for all the photo-frenzies. There is an interactive digital screen with the signature Louis Vuitton Monogram that reflects your moves as you step in front of it.
