Nanosatellites to elevate operations of Dubai's water and power authority via thermal imaging

Tech transformation of local administrative bodies in Emirati cities like Dubai is the key for these urban spaces to develop a smart infrastructure for the future, and everything from AI to satellite tech as well as cloud storage is being deployed by organisations that manage traffic, power and water in connected ecosystems. By capturing accurate visuals which can be analysed via AI, the mechanical moons to be deployed by Nanoavionics will facilitate preventive maintenance of smart power grids, the network of EV charging stations and an infrastructure for production as well as distribution of electricity. Home to the world's larges solar park, Dubai will also be able to receive updates about solar power stations thanks to thermal imaging provided by the two satellites, which will be created as part of the collaboration.

Transmission lines and buildings will also be scanned for thermal fingerprints through high resolution devices on the satellites, that'll be at par with those used by any major spacecraft. As the mechanical moons will relay images back to DEWA officials on Earth, the cosmic system will also allow the organisation to train Emirati professionals for using space tech efficiently.
