Nokia C20 Plus Launched In India At Rs 8,999 With Android 11 Go Edition, 4950 mAh Battery

HMD Global today announced four new Nokia smartphones that are India bound over the next few months. The four new smartphones in question include the entry-level Nokia C01 Plus, the Nokia C30, Nokia G10 and Nokia C20 Plus. The Finnish company also confirmed that it will soon launch Nokia XR20, its first 5G phone in India.

While the company did talk about four smartphones in total, only one of those four will actually be available right away — the Nokia C20 Plus. Nokia C20 Plus, it starts at INR 8,999 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and this variant is priced at INR 9,999.

The smartphone will be available through the official Nokia India website, Reliance Digital, Jio Point outlets and retail stores. HMD Global also used the opportunity to talk about a special partnership with Reliance Jio which will allow the all existing and new Jio users to avail a 10% discount on the Nokia C20 Plus. There are also benefits worth INR 4,000 for Jio customers.

The Nokia C20 Plus comes equipped with a 6.5-inch and 720p display, along with a 4,950 mAh battery. The device also has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card reader should you need more space. There's also a 2GB RAM variant with 32GB of storage which runs cheaper.

The Nokia C20 Plus runs Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box, albeit using the lowly Unisoc SC9863 SoC. HMD Global has included three cameras too: a 5 MP front-facing sensor, an 8 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth of field sensor. Additionally, the device has an LED flash, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port, underlining its budget status.
