Acting Director-General of Jordan News Agency (Petra), Mohammad Al-Omari, on Tuesday met with a delegation from the Oman News Agency (ONA), currently visiting Jordan as part of cooperation between the two agencies.

Al-Omari stressed the importance of increasing bilateral cooperation in the fields of information, training and technical exchange of expertise to support media in both countries, and thus improving editorial professionalism in line with the latest technological developments.

He also lauded the developed relations and cooperation between the two agencies in various media fields, within the framework of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA).

The Omani delegation, headed by Talal bin Mohammad Al Ma'amari, was briefed on Petra's various programs and plans, as well as the work and activities of the agency's various departments.
