Baha Hamadi Head of Communications at Crescent Enterprises has been appointed to the board of the Public Relations and Communications Association Middle East and North Africa .

Hamadi has over 15 years of practice in integrated marketing, strategic planning and counselling, bi-lingual writing (English and Arabic), digital marketing and crisis communications. With a wealth of on-ground experience in MEA, USA, India and the Philippines, advocacy of corporate citizenship and cause marketing has always been a cross-cutting theme in his career. As an ardent believer in divergent thinking and identifying opportunities based on insight, Hamadi’s communications skills have consistently carved out a greater share of voice for leading regional and global corporates as well as non-profit organisations.

Ahmad Itani, Chairperson of PRCA MENA, said: “Baha is a seasoned professional who brings with him over a decade of communication experience and we are proud to have him on our journey towards empowering the regional communication industry. His experience will prove to be an asset and a source of inspiration for his colleagues and peers across a diverse set of industries.”

Baha Hamadi commented: “Board service for the world’s largest professional public relations and communications body is truly a privilege. Keeping pace with digital transformation, the rise of new media and the ensuing changes in consumer behaviour, the world of communications is rapidly evolving. In the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region in particular, we are witnessing much-needed proliferation and specialization of agency and in-house communicators. Successful pivots like these boil down to our collective effort in building and promoting a sound business case behind them. I’m eager to support the PRCA MENA Regional Board in advancing the organisation’s mission, while raising the bar for the next generation of communications professionals.”
