One needs to register ahead of time to be a part of the world-famous Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve fireworks from Downtown Dubai.

With just a few days left for the New Year to ring in, Dubai is already gearing up to welcome 2022 with an outstanding bang and no celebration is complete in the region without a spectacular show of fireworks.

What better place to witness a fireworks show in Dubai than the very own—Burj Khalifa. The world’s tallest skyscraper will explode into life at midnight on Friday, December 31, as it will put up an astonishing show of fireworks.

However, to witness the view, one needs to register ahead of time to be a part of the world-famous Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve fireworks from Downtown Dubai.

Aptly named as the Eve of Wonders fireworks, the New Year show will have pyrotechnics, light displays, laser shows plus the usual H20 choreography from The Dubai Fountains, to add to the extravagant programme of mind-blowing visuals.

To book the slot for the show, you’ll want to download the U by Emaar app. Interested individuals, including Emaar Boulevard residents and hotel guests, can log on and follow the easy steps stated in order to access all Downtown Dubai locations.

Once the registrations are done, you’ll receive individual QR codes that can be used to gain access to Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve.

Hosting the stunning show to welcome the new year, Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, the development company which owns Burj Khalifa quipped, “The UAE, and Dubai, inspire hope and optimism, and bring together a global community to shape the future. This year’s celebration is a tribute to our nation’s achievements in the past 50 years. It also highlights our leadership’s vision to create a new age of progress through openness and collaboration, and Emaar is proud to be part of it.”
