The Apple Watch Pro, along with an updated Apple Watch Series 8 and the current Apple Watch SE, have all been predicted to be released this autumn. The rumored Apple Watch Pro is speculated to be larger and more durable than previous models, catering to the needs of active consumers.
The rumor that Apple is working on a way to add satellite functionality to the iPhone has been floating about for over a year. This feature, which had previously been proposed for the iPhone 13, may finally make it onto the next-generation iPhone 14. While this capability might assist iPhone users to report emergencies in locations without a cellular connection, it’s now being addressed by Apple, extending this functionality to a new version of the speculated Apple Watch Pro.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg wrote about it in his Power On newsletter. The analyst speculates that satellite capabilities will be included in the next iteration of the unannounced tough Apple Watch Pro.
