Since the COVID-19 pandemic has taken over the world, events had to take a back seat. But now, as the situations improve in the region, events are seeing a comeback; one such event is MDLBEAST’s Saudi dance music festival Soundstorm.

One of the biggest events in Saudi, MDLBEAST has announced the return of Soundstorm, which is going to take place December 16 to 19, 2021.

The four-day festival will feature some of the biggest names in the dance music world and promises to bring more dance music energy to Saudi Arabia.

The first MDLBEAST festival was held in December 2019 and brought over 400,000 people together. However, due to the pandemic, the event was not able to take place.

The event in 2019 saw 80 artists across six stages including world-famous names like David Guetta, Tiesto, and Martin Garrix, and regional DJs among them COSMICAT, Dish Dash, Don Edwardo.

This year, the festival is set to be even bigger, the number of stages, and the profiles of the artists. Not just focusing on unique live experiences, but the event is also building the music infrastructure from the ground up, including discovery and management of new talent.

Saudi Arabia has always been upfront in promoting talents and events that bring out the best from the youth and played a huge role in promoting the Middle East and Saudi dance music talent.

With the first event in 2019, Saudi Arabia has propelled onto the international festival scene and raising the bar for such events in the region.

While much hasn’t been disclosed yet and the line-up is yet to be announced, fans can expect EDM headliners from across the world. The tickets for the event will on sale from September 2 in four different categories.
