Saudi Arabia was guest of honor at a four-day media festival held under the title “In Support of Arab Jerusalem.”

The 19th Session of the Arab Radio and Television Festival started in Tunisia included a variety of debates, professional workshops, as well as opening and closing ceremonies, folklore and cinema shows, and a series of competitions and honoring some of the guests.

Tunisian Minister of Culture Mohamed Zine El Abidine said it was an important event as it brought together Arab excellence in the field of radio and television and providing opportunities for exchanging experiences.

He said that the Kingdom deserves to be celebrated as a cultural and religious symbol and an important pillar in the Arab radio and television scene.

Moreover, the Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali, said that the Kingdom’s presence as a guest of honor to the festival will be unique in a manner appropriate to its international status today and its evolving and growing growth at all levels.

The exhibition showcases the latest radio and television productions from dramas and programs, as well as the latest equipment and modern media to enable visitors to keep up to date with developments in the industry
