Watani Newspaper is a weekly Egyptian newspaper that is published every Sunday and has wide fame among Egyptian and Diaspora Copts. It was founded by Anton Sidhum in 1958. The aim of establishing the newspaper was for the entire Egyptian people to obtain the right to equality and social justice. The newspaper is concerned with global, regional and local issues in general, but it is particularly concerned with Coptic and heritage issues, and the development of Egyptian society.
