Key Responsibilities

• To summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• To handle duties related to Accounts Payable, following up with vendors and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• To carry out duties as tasked, ensuring that Mindshare service standards, objectives, internal policies & procedures and code of conduct are met or exceeded at all times.
• To constantly monitor the remit functionality; to maintain accurate, up-to-date records and submit regular monthly reports to agreed standards as required to ensure the remit’s effectiveness is maximised and its activities are in line with overall
group strategy.
• To handle duties related to Accounts Receivable, including processing payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts and account reconciliation when required.
• Should be a team player and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Work with the respective departments to assist in the preparation of budgets.
• Additionally, the jobholder is expected to suggest and implement improvements to internal procedures and controls to improve efficiency, reduce costs and to promote and protect the business interests of Mindshare wherever possible.
• Deal with the Company’s Bankers and ensure timely reconciliation of balances.
• To constantly look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the remit.
• To prepare periodic regulatory filings like taxes & NSSF.
• Assist and Liaise with Internal Auditors, Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors and SOX Auditors of the Company and ensure timely completion of Audit.

Skills

• Previous experience with Media Industry, Audit firms or finance exposure with a multinational company.
• Very good command of English and Arabic.
• Analytical skills, organisation, attention to detail, decision-making and problem solving are particular
characteristics required.
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, Accounts receivable and payable management, Tax & NSSF
Reporting and Financial Reporting.
• Strong computer skills are obligatory especially for MS office and accounting systems.
• Team player and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
