Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
• Provide an effective employee relations service to line managers and staff, ensuring that advice and/or counseling is given as appropriate. This will include advising and participating in disciplinary and grievance interviews to ensure equitable treatment of staff, within policy, and that such matters are properly documented.
• Ensure the implementation of company policies with regard to employee resignations/terminations and to co-ordinate the process of investigation and exit interviews with departmental heads and the Divisional Manager.
• Assume and discharge responsibilities concerned with all staff related activities and also promote and introduce employee motivation schemes and suggestions.
• Provides support to line managers / HOD's on interpretation and application of employee relations and related policies and procedures.
• Responds to and coordinates resolution of policy-related enquiries emanating from departments / staff.
• Provides assistance, advice and guidance to employees on a need basis / request from line manager / HOD's.
• Reviews and advises as appropriate on employee suspensions, disciplinary cases to ensure compliance with the laws, policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains employee relations data bases and tracking systems; collects and analyzes employee relations data and prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports.
• Monitor and control HR Programs focused on improving staff motivation and morale like Suggestion Scheme, Welfare Circle Meetings, Staff Canteen. In addition, job holder will also represent the company in community support related activities.
• Make recommendations regarding changes to internal procedures and/or software customizations and identify and implement best business practices.
• Work with the IT team during the application development process to perform customizations and enhancements from initial inquiries through functional design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Oversees and coordinates day-to-day HR transactions through the HR Oracle system and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Contribute towards improved HR policies and practices in order to enhance the service provided to staff/line managers by the department. This will involve drafting amendments to policies, highlighting discrepancies and identifying loopholes
• Participates in the development and implementation of department operating policies and procedures and represents the HR Department in Quality Audits.
• Update the HR Policies and Procedures Manual and its intranet version, as and when necessary.
• Assist in all matters related to staff benefits.

Skills
A level or Diploma in the relevant field or equivalent qualification with specialization in Human Resources Management. Completed all necessary professional/ operational training at advance level
