The sky’s the limit for Philip Duffield after Adobe announced that the media and advertising veteran is to be its new managing director for its advertising cloud EMEA.
This position will see Duffield assume responsibility for driving growth across the region, fostering relationships between brands and agencies and improving the customer experience.
Duffield previously served with San Francisco based data and analytics specialists Samba TV having also worked as head of advertising with AOL and held the post of chief operating officer at Uncommon.
Adobe President of EMEA Garrett Ilg remarked: “Following our recent acquisition of TubeMogul, and specifically in EMEA, Philip will now play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for Adobe to help some of Europe’s largest brands create and run more efficient ad campaigns.”
Duffield himself added: “Each European market is unique and Adobe’s strategic perspective, as well as a depth of experience and expansive product portfolio will truly support the ongoing development of the customer experience. Every business is challenged with different needs, but with cross-channel transparency and wider marketing technology coming together at Adobe, the opportunity to lead the European business is really exciting for me.”
Adobe Ad Cloud now manages an annual ad spend approximating $3.5bn, reaching 1,000 clients globally with the business seeking to grow both numbers with a majorpush into the fast-growing connected TV sector.
