Take a look at Apple's new AirTag Detector app designed to improve security.
Apple has launched an AirTag Detector app for Android to boost privacy. It helps to scan the nearby AirTags or other compatible devices when someone uses them to track their location.
AirTags are small devices that can be tagged to track someone’s location when they are lost. "We are raising the bar on privacy for our users and the industry, and hope others will follow," said Apple spokesperson.

The app was launched on Google Play Store and users can scan for the AirTags or other item trackers.
The installation process is simple as users can download the Tracker Detector app. After the installation, open it and start scanning for the nearby trackers.
Apple said that the users will be able to scan for the item trackers and if there’s any device around them without their knowledge for more than 10 minutes, the app will notify the user, help to locate it with a sound, and disable it.
“AirTag provides industry-leading privacy and security features and today we are extending new capabilities to Android devices. Tracker Detect gives Android users the ability to scan for an AirTag or supported Find My enabled item trackers that might be traveling with them without their knowledge. We are raising the bar on privacy for our users and the industry, and hope others will follow,” Apple shared in a statement.
The AirTags start at Rs. 3,190 for a single tracker and Rs. 10,900 for two pairs of trackers.
