Mashable: Arab talents – designers and stars alike turned heads on the Cannes 2024 opening night red carpet.

The opening night of the Cannes Film Festival 2024 hosted several A-listers from all over the world on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

The 77th Cannes Film Festival lighted up the French Riviera with cinematic excellence and splendor, bursting with the Arab representation.

Arab designers including Elie Saab, Said Kobeisy, Zuhair Murad, Atelier Zuhra, and more made their mark at the prestigious event.

Running from May 14 to May 25, many attendees opted to be dressed by the regional designers for the opening festivities. Let’s take a look:

Elie Saab

Lebanese designer Elie Saab dressed the iconic actress, Jane Fonda who attended the premiere of Le Deuxième Acte. Saab also dressed Chinese actress and singer Guan Xiaotong on the night.

Saiid Kobeisy

German-American model and television host Heidi Klum stunned in Lebanese designer, Saiid Kobeisy.
