As per The National News, the forward gave a rare interview after winning the crucial match for Al Nassr.

“We are much better,” Cristiano Ronaldo said when the Saudi channel SSC asked how he feels about the Saudi Pro League. The star player said that the league is “getting better” and believes that the next year will be “even better.”

Talking about Saudi League’s future, the player said that step-by-step it will be “among the top five” in the world. Although Ronaldo feels that the league needs time and players along with infrastructure.

Ronaldo also believes that Saudi Arabia has “amazing potential” and “amazing people”. In his opinion, the league will “be great.”

Al Nassr is currently three points behind Al Ittihad and Ronaldo was praised for keeping his club’s Saudi Pro League title race alive.
