Dubai Police and Expo 2020 Dubai won the title for the largest online video chain of people passing the Expo 2020 pin.
Yet again, Dubai Police General Command and Expo 2020 Dubai have made it to the Guinness World Record and this time it has been won the title for the largest online video chain of people passing Expo 2020 pin.
A total of 265 people from 193 nationalities and 192 Country Pavilions said “Thank you Expo 2020” on camera in their national languages before virtually handing the Expo 2020 Dubai badge, or pin, to one another via split screens.
The three-minute video chain was adjudicated by Guinness World Records-MENA and took 48 hours to film where participants were seen wearing a self-adhesive badge/sticker as a part of the record.
The official Guinness certificate was handed over to the Dubai Police General Command and Expo 2020 Dubai in the presence of Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of the Expo 2020 Dubai Office, Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafea, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for Administrative Affairs, Brigadier Saleh Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources, and many officers and officials representing the various pavilions at the global event.
The motive of the video chain was to create a unifying message of equality that Dubai thrives on by uniting all the pavilions under one flag of connecting minds and building a healthy future.
So far Expo 2020 Dubai has won around 15 Guinness World Records including Most Awareness Ribbons made to celebrate World Cancer Day, World Cinnamon Bun Day at the Swedish Pavilion, three records at the Saudi Arabia Pavilion, among others.
