DWTC and Huawei demonstrate their trust in the network with new contracts
Two PHD MENA clients have extended their relationship with the media planning network after recently concluded competitive reviews. Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the region’s largest fair, exhibition and event organizer, has renewed its contract after three successful years with the agency. Huawei, a leading provider of information and communications technology solutions, has added Lebanon to PHD’s remit, which already includes the UAE. These are the latest in a series of new assignments and contracts for the Omnicom Media Group-owned network.
As a fair and exhibition powerhouse, DWTC is a major contributor to the UAE economy and a formidable ambassador for Dubai around the world. Over the last three years, PHD has elevated the brand’s marketing performance and injected technology and innovation in the way it communicates to help supercharge DWTC’s business offering.
Huawei has a thriving business in Lebanon with a busy pipeline of phone launches. In September, they released the nova 2 and nova 2 Plus models, which will be followed by the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, a device that features the world’s first Artificial intelligence processor. A recent report by IDC states that Huawei remained the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer in Q2 of this year.
“Winning new business is always very rewarding but there is something special in being retained by or receiving an expanded brief from an existing client, as it intimates a strong level of satisfaction,” commented Luca Allam, managing director of PHD UAE. “DWTC is a prestigious brand with ambitious plans. We can’t ask for much more from our clients than to expect from us to turn their dreams into reality.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Huawei on board as part of our growing list of clients in Lebanon. There is much to be achieved in the telecom sector and we are confident that with our respective knowledge and expertise, together we can take Huawei to even greater heights here,” added Maroun Hassoun, general manager of PHD Lebanon.
