The King of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has welcomed the oldest pilgrim for Hajj 2024.

In a remarkable feat, Sarahouda Stiti claimed to be a 130-year-old woman from Algeria, has been recognized as the oldest Hajj pilgrim of this year.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Saudi Airlines welcomed the 130-year-old woman who made the journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the holy annual Hajj pilgrimage.

The Saudi group shared on its official X/ Twitter handle about the arrival of this year’s oldest pilgrim from Algeria.

In a now-viral video shared by Saudi Airlines, the Algerian woman is seen receiving a warm reception from Saudi officials upon her arrival in the Kingdom at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

According to The Siasat Daily, before embarking on the holy journey, Sarahouda Setit reportedly underwent the necessary preparations to assume the state of Ihram. Her determination to perform the holy pilgrimage of Hajj despite her old age has garnered worldwide attention.
