The final window to purchase the World Cup 2022 tickets is now live
The countdown for the world’s biggest sports event, FIFA World Cup has begun. This would be the very first time that the flagship event is being organized in the Middle East.
The matches for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 are scheduled between 21 November 2022 and 18 December 2022. The matches are scheduled to happen at 18 different stadiums located in Qatar and around its capital Doha.
There are no reservations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The tickets for the upcoming event are being sold on a first come first serve basis- meaning that whosoever buys the ticket first will get the ticket first.
FIFA previously announced that a total of 1.8 million tickets have been already sold in the first two phases of the sale.
The total match tickets that were made available for sale were 3 million. Of these 3 million, only 2 million match tickets were kept for the general public. The remaining 1 million match tickets are being kept for the stakeholders of FIFA, which include sponsors, hospitality partners, and member federations.
The remaining match tickets for the general public went on sale on July 5 and will go on till August 16.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 match tickets will be available on FIFA’s official website. The lowest ticket cost for people not residing in Qatar is 250 Qatari Riyals. Fans can confirm their match tickets immediately after making their payments.
A total of thirty-two teams have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
