Many WhatsApp users have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of WhatsApp Message Reactions for some time. Some of the company's beta testers had been using it for a while. To everyone's relief, both stable and beta builds are now receiving the update.
Zuckerberg announced that WhatsApp Message Reactions are beginning to roll out on Facebook. Customers on iOS, Android, Mac OS X, and Windows can now take advantage of it. Despite the fact that this is a gradual rollout, it's worth noting that, it could take up to a week for the update to reach everyone. Make sure your WhatsApp app is up to date and be patient if you don't see Message Reactions yet.
For the time being, WhatsApp only supports six emoji as reactions: Thumbs Up, Red Heart, Face with Tears of Joy and Face with Open Mouth. However, the company has previously stated that it intends to support all emoji and skin tones in the future. Just tap and hold on a message in a private or group chat, then select one of the six provided emojis to express your feelings.
