Spark Foundry has appointed Lisa Giacosa to serve in its new role of head of analytics and insights—a move it described in a statement as proof of its “commitment to create enterprise-wide, sustainable solutions” for clients.
Giacosa—formerly the global head of media at consumer goods company Kimberly-Clark (e.g. the company behind Huggies)—will be responsible for leading the Publicis Groupe media agency’s overall analytics and insights strategy and developing solutions to build experiences for brands that deliver return on investment.
Spark Foundry noted in the statement that Giacosa will also work with Publicis leadership to identify solutions for all its clients worldwide. Based in New York, she will report directly to Sarah Kramer, chief client and operations officer at Spark Foundry.
“At Spark, we are building a unified technology and data infrastructure with audiences and client performance at the center, and our leadership will play a pivotal role in accelerating this vision and opportunity,” Kramer said in a statement. “Lisa’s stellar track record speaks volumes. Her terrific industry and technological knowledge, coupled with her ability to look at challenges from a client’s and audience perspective, will imbue Spark with an indomitable advantage to create business results for our clients.”
Before joining Kimberly-Clark, Giacosa spent four years in various stints at Publicis agencies including as global digital director at VivaKi London and senior vice president, global social media director, video lead and mobile at Starcom Mediavest Group in Chicago.
“I’m absolutely inspired with Spark Foundry’s progressive value proposition and capabilities,” Giacosa added. “I’m looking forward to harnessing the potential of data, [as well as] connecting, enhancing and activating it to deliver business impact for our clients.”
