Starting from today (November 21, 2016), the Rotana TV network will implement tailor-made advertising strategies on Rotana Cinema with the launch of the Saudi version of the channel dedicated specifically to the Saudi market in terms of content and advertising, a statement said.
A second version of the channel will cater to the Egyptian market with all that this entails in terms of media and advertising specifications. Although the two channels will offer viewers the same prominent Egyptian and Arab films, there will be a clear separation in terms of advertising slots between the two channels and countries, easing the advertiser’s convenience and communication with the consumers.
Also, both channels will show specialised content daily at certain slots, such as broadcasting women-oriented movies in the morning, as well as theme nights and showing movies with only one commercial break after midnight to enhance the viewing experience. Rotana Cinema will also have the biggest market share of new Arabic blockbusters, which will air first and exclusively for the channel’s viewers in 2017.
Since its launch, Rotana Cinema has been at the forefront of the non-encrypted channels in terms of being on top of the viewership and ratings, offering the newest Arabic movie productions firstly and exclusively to its viewers.
The Rotana TV network wishes to complement this success and extend the channel’s huge archive potential and, therefore, the entertainment and advertising possibilities that can be provided to the Arab viewers around the world, the statement added.
