Mashable: Dubai folks, are you ready? Shopping malls are set to transform into fitness hubs during morning hours throughout August, as part of an initiative encouraging everyone to stay physically fit and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Starting from August 1 to 31, seven major shopping malls will offer dedicated working and running tracks every morning from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? The malls include Dubai Mall, Dubai Hills Mall, Springs Souk, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, Mall of the Emirates, and Dubai Marina Mall. In a video shared by Sheikh Hamdan on his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, we get a glimpse into what to expect from the upcoming month-long event.

And guess what? It is for all members of society, including youth, senior citizens, and shopping mall employees.
The initiative is backed by the Ministry of Defence and the Dubai Sports Council, with support from restaurants and retailers offering health-focused deals. 'Dubai Mallathon' is a simple idea with a powerful goal, i.e. bringing healthy, active living into familiar everyday spaces.
