Only in its first year, The Drum B2B Brave Awards has come out shining as TBWA\Chiat\Day NY and Earnest (London) take home the top prizes.

Rewarding the best B2B marketing campaigns and strategies, these global award awards aim to find the best in terms of creativity, effectiveness, ROI and commercial results.

The grand prix is the best of the winners and the panel's overall favorite. This year’s winner is TBWA\Chiat\Day NY for its entry, “The Answer Company” for Thomson Reuters.

Chairman and judge, Chris Duffey, senior strategic business development manager at Adobe, said: “TBWA\Chiat\Day NY created a defining campaign unique to Rueters with a foundational premise that businesses are not ideally set-up to understand logic but rather they are ideally set-up to understand experiences.

"They told an interesting story unique to Rueters with a tight and striking visual identity."

Howard Lenn, group creative director, J Walter Thompson New York, said: "It has a solid strategy and results, an ambitious agenda that is well executed with strong campaign theme and compelling story telling."

The agency also won in the best integrated campaign, best brand campaign and best out-of-home campaign categories.

The chairman’s award is judge Duffey’s personal favorite and was selected from all of the nominations. This year’s winner went to work on the Samsung brand by Earnest, which also took home the awards for agency of the year, best digital campaign and best content-driven digital experience.

On their top accolade, Duffey said: “Samsung's The Open Economy is an exquisite post-modern ecosystem of content creation, distribution and measurement. This fully integrated marketing mix delivered thought leadership content around Artificial Intelligence, business innovation and beyond.

"This year’s Drum B2B Brave Award Winners all have a common genome, that of commitment. A commitment to questioning and leveraging data, customer experiences and digital transformation for unprecedented go-to-market results."

Other winners include: Doremus for best digital video campaign and best content brand, Stein IAS for best use of marketing automation and best native/sponsored content program and The Media Image for best blog/vlog and best use of PR.
