Falconry is considered one of the most supreme activities in Saudi Arabia. Falconry or hunting with falcons has been an integral part of the region for over 10,000 years and is practiced with passion and joy.

It remains an important aspect of the region’s cultural heritage and is popular among Saudis who seek to revive an aspect of their Bedouin history.

In order to retain the cultural heritage, various events have been emerging and one of them is the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition. While two editions have successfully taken place in the Kingdom, the third edition of the exhibition is set to take place from October 1 to 10, which will be hosted in Malham, north of Riyadh.

Organised by the Saudi Falcons Club, the Kingdom aims to promote the Kingdom’s falconry and hunting cultural heritage to the world.

Having received a great response for the first two editions, applications have started to pour in for the third season. The organisers have now opened applications from people interested in participation or sponsorship through the official operations team email.

The exhibition targets visitors from all demographics, both locally and internationally aiming to introduce the cultural heritage and national identity of Saudi Arabia to future generations, and promote the rich outdoor experience of falconry, weaponry, and hunting in the Kingdom.

The exhibition also opens doors of communication between people interested in heritage and enthusiastic falcon lovers and expands information on the activity.

The last two exhibitions attracted more than 300 exhibitors from 20 different countries and this year for its third edition, the ISFHE will host more than 350 exhibitors from over 26 countries.

The event will feature over 4 unique sections that cover camping, falcon training, and hunting and shooting, among others. It will also have a dedicated art section wherein seminars, workshops, cultural evenings, and folk arts will take place for attendees of all age groups.
