The Social Services Department of Sharjah partnered with the DataFlow Group, a leading provider of specialised Primary Source Verification (PSV) solutions, in 2019 pursuant to Executive Decision No. 17 of 2018 on the licensing of social professions, as a mandatory requirement for all social services professionals who wish to apply for a license to practice in Sharjah. The DataFlow Group’s website allows applicants to access a dedicated page for the Social Services Department and find all required information, including a guide on the application process and frequently asked questions.
The DataFlow Group has offered PSV solutions and worked closely with public and private entities for over 17 years to ensure the integrity of employment applications. “An essential part of DataFlow’s ethos is to protect communities. There has been an alarming surge in the number of embellished and forged credentials, which can and does negatively impact the standard of care individuals are receiving from people who should be qualified and experienced,” said Sunil Kumar, CEO of the DataFlow Group.
“We’re committed to providing a transparent and efficient verification process to allow individuals in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates to complete the application through our portal and receive their results quickly. Upon successful completion of their application, individuals can then apply for social services roles within Sharjah, and the Social Services Department can be confident these individuals have passed through a rigorous screening process that checks their levels of education and experience,” added Kumar.
Kholoud Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Social Licensing Department, said: “We partnered with the DataFlow Group based on their extensive experience in the UAE and the GCC region. Moreover, we were confident the verification service it provides meets regional and global standards. While we want to ensure the application process is as transparent and user-friendly as possible, it is also vital the verification process is robust enough to safeguard our communities and make certain the professionals providing services to them are qualified and properly licensed.”
