When measured against criteria such as velocity, stability, and growth, the quality is 54% higher than the worldwide average. Mobile Internet in the nation operates at a speed of 247.7 Mbps/s, placing it top in the world, ahead of fixed broadband.
In comparison to the previous year, both mobile and fixed broadband Internet speeds have increased by 29.8 percent (54.8 Mbps) and 28.1 percent, respectively (42.5 Mbps).
Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) released research claiming that the United Arab Emirates has the highest average mobile Internet speeds in the world. Residents, according to the same survey, spend an average of 8.50 hours per day online, which is approximately 2 hours greater than the global average of 6.58 hours.
In terms of affordability, a month of 1GB mobile internet in the UAE may be purchased for "as low as 4 minutes 6 seconds of labor," as reported by the DQL.

The United Arab Emirates ranks 17th in the world for its e-government services, and 20th for its e-infrastructure, out of 117 nations. This is the second year in a row that inflation has made fixed broadband Internet less affordable throughout the world. The index ranks nations based on five key indicators of digital prosperity: connectivity, government transparency, infrastructure accessibility, cost, and security.
