Abdul Hamid Ahmad is the Editor-in-Chief of Gulf News in United Arab Emirates,

Born in Dubai in 1957. He began his career in Journalism at Al-Azmena Newspaper and later became the Newspaper's Editor-in-Chief. He held important positions at various Emirati Newspapers like Al-Ittihad & Al-Bayan. He also wrote daily and weekly articles in several local newspapers. he is also an active Member at local cultural associations, and was appointed the Chairman of Emirates Writers Union for several sessions and The Secretary General of Sultan Al Owais Cultural Foundation.

He has Participated in several cultural, scientific conferences, seminars & festivals, where he represented United arab Emirates.
