89.1 FM KANW is a radio station based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Launched in 1951, it is the oldest FM radio station in New Mexico. KANW is a public radio station run by the Albuquerque Public Schools. For most of the day, it airs New Mexico music and local public radio programming, with some NPR news programming in the morning. KANW is also broadcast on KANR 91.9 in Santa Rosa, KGGA 88.1 in Gallup, New Mexico, KIDS 88.1 in Grants, New Mexico, and KANM 90.3 in Grants, New Mexico. There is also an HD Radio format broadcast on KANW 89.1 FM.
