"Afisha-Mir" is a travel journal and online project for independent travelers. We look at the world through the eyes of insiders and try to understand how people in different parts of the world actually live.

Our guides to the cities of the world are collected from the councils of local residents. We do not write about the Eiffel Tower and Hyde Park - we are interested in insider finds secret bars, parks, beaches, yards and roofs, museums and flea markets - all that makes a living city. We do not send journalists to search for these places - we are looking for people who know their city from the inside. We are very familiar with them personally, accidentally met once, or found just to ask for advice. We think you would like them. We trust their recommendations: they talk about what they cherish for themselves and love for real.
