In the absence of professionalism and independence from the modern media, Libya was in dire need of a voice that was above and beyond neutrality to save the Fourth Power from collapse in our beloved country.

Hence the idea of launching the "News Libya 24".

"Libya News 24", an independent news site established in Benghazi in early March 2014, aims to restore public confidence in the media.

"Libya News 24" was launched in order to move freely and independently in the skies of Libya, not biased towards any trend or current.

"Akhbar Libya 24" is based on a variety of sources, independent and reliable, and its aim is to make the Libyan people aware in a non-biased and realistic manner.
