Al Hayat is a London based Arabic newspaper which is considered to be one of the leading pan-Arab daily publications. It has offices and is printed in London, New York, Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Beirut, and Cairo. The newspaper is owned by the former Saudi Arabian deputy minister of defence Khalid bin Sultan and is believed to be the main rival of Asharq Al-Awsat
