Amar Asom is an Assamese daily newspaper in the Indian state of Assam . The newspaper appeared for the first time on April 21, 1997 and is owned by GL Agarwalla. The broadsheet is published in three editions: in Guwahati , Jorhat and North Lakhimpur . The edition of the newspaper is around 70,000 copies. The editor is Homen Borgohain (2013).
