Andhra Prabha is a Telugu newspaper in India. The newspaper, a broadsheet - newspaper , was in 1938 in Chennai founded by Ramnath Goenka to do battle with the then leading Telugu newspaper Andhra Patrika . An important editor-in-chief was Narla Venkateswara Rao , whose leadership led the newspaper for a few months to protest against efforts by the British government to censor Indian newspapers. Until 1959, the magazine was only issued from Chennai. In 1960 an edition in Vijayawada followed, followed by an edition in Chittoor (from 1966 Bangalore ). In 1977, Haiderabad followed and in 1985 Visakhapatnam .
