Antenne Tirol is a private radio station in the state of Tyrol. It belongs to the antenna Austria , like its sister station Antenne Salzburg and Antenne Wien. From April 1998 to December 2004, the radio station dominated by Moser Holding broadcast under the name "Antenne Tirol". In the years 1999 to 2001 Antenne Tirol was one of the more successful private radio stations with market shares of about 20 percent. Under the leadership of the former managing director Matthias Nieswandt (later, inter alia, TV Munich, n-tv, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Antenne Salzburg) and the program director Matthias Schrom (Ö3, ORF Tyrol, ORF Vienna, time in the picture) have numerous well-known presenters and editors their careers started. The moderation team during this time include television star Mirjam Weichselbraun and the Ö3 presenters Benny Hörtnagl and Thomas Kamenar, The ORF Radio Tirol presenters Thomas Arbeiter, Markus Feichter and Barbara Kohla have also started their careers at Antenne Tirol. The now Brussels-correspondent of the ORF, Barbara Herbst, served as head of the service at Antenne Tirol. During these years, Antenne Tirol has positioned itself as an AC radio with a comprehensive range of information.
