Bohuslägen is independent liberal and founded in 1878 by Ture Malmgren. Bohusläningen is part of Stampen AB, a fast-growing media group and one of Sweden's largest newspaper owners, together with Göteborgs Posten, TTELA, Strömstads Tidning, Hallandsposten, Hallands Nyheter and several free newspapers. Stampen AB reaches readers from Hallandsåsen in the south to Strömstad in the north.
