About half a year later she appeared twice a week as Der Bote aus der Urschweiz, since 1863 she is called the messenger of the original Switzerland. The newspaper initially understood itself as an entertainment and advertising newspaper, later as the actual forum newspaper. The political orientation was for a long time liberal, but there were no financial links between party and newspaper. 1876 was a messenger competition from the conservative Schwyzer Zeitung.
