The magazine CERCLE DIPLOMATIQUE was founded in 1971 by Karl Hannes and Elisabeth Schmidt. In 1996 KR Prof. Waltraud Steinböck took over the traditional magazine: in 1999 the first big relaunch took place and the title was changed to CERCLE DIPLOMATIQUE et ECONOMIQUE INTERNATIONAL (CD), especially since the magazine is exclusively financed by the business world. Finally, in 2015, the acquisition by FCM first-class media and content and optical reorientation. The title has been changed to CERCLE DIPLOMATIQUE - economique et touristique international and the frequency has been increased to 4 times a year. CD appears in two languages with an increased circulation of 40,000 copies.
