Dina Thanthi (also known as Daily Thanthi ) is a Tamil newspaper published in India.The newspaper was founded in 1942 by advocate SP Adithanar , the magazine then expired in Madurai . Nowadays there are also editions in Tirunelveli , Bangalore , Bombay , Chennai , Coimbatore , Erode , Dindigul , Trichy , Salem , Nagercoil , Cuddalore , Vellore , Pondicherry and Thanjavur.. The daily newspaper is one of the largest Tamil newspapers. In the second half of 2009, the issue totaled over one million (1,191,874) copies) and amounted to more than 7.3 million readers. The broadsheet is owned by the Thanthi Trust.
