ELF Football, formerly ELF, is a football magazine that appears eleven times a year and the largest football magazine in the Netherlands. The songs come out about once a month and are published by publishers consortium De Bruijn Media , which also publishes various other magazines such as Handwerken Zonder Grenzen and USA Sports. ELF Football was founded in 1982 as ELF and the first editor in chief was Henri van der Steen, now employed at the Associated Press Services . In 1996 Jan-Hermen de Bruijn became the new chief editor. Deputy editor-in-chief Arnout Verzijl. The magazine is published in A4 format, full color and consists of a small hundred pages per issue. Every month there are as many interviews as there are paid football clubs in the Netherlands at that time. In each issue, at least one person - usually players , but sometimes a coach , technical director , etc. - is interviewed for each Premier League Club and at least one for each Premier League Club. Sometimes articles consist of interviews or reports with a group of players. The magazine also contains various reports and background stories, also about foreign top football. Since 2009, ELF Football has had a special partnership with beer brand Jupiler , with which it jointly publishes the National Football Guide , a special and extra-thick season guide, which many experts regard as the best seasonal forecast of the Netherlands. The total edition of this edition is around 350,000, the largest commercial edition of a sports magazine in the Netherlands ever.
