Florida Music Director, recipient of the Music Educators' National Conference Award for Excellence, is the official publication of the Florida Music Education Association, the largest unit in the 11-state NAfME Southern Division and the fourth largest in the nation. The Florida Music Director contains articles of interest to music educators of all levels - from kindergarten through college level. It is published eight times annually and distributed to more than 5,000 music teachers, school principals, school district superintendents and music/arts department supervisors, public and university libraries, college music education students, and subscribers.
