The Free Radio Freistadt is an Austrian non-commercial radio station and since March 3, 2005 transmits 24 hours daily on the frequencies 107.1, 103.1 and 88.4 in the district of Freistadt and parts of the adjacent districts in Upper Austria. In addition, the program can be heard on the internet and sometimes also terrestrially in the central area of Linz. Studio and office are located in the local stage Freistadt, the largest independent private cultural provider in the region. The Free Radio Freistadt is the Free Broadcasting Freistadt GmbH. The company is distributed by regional initiatives, associations and actors of cultural and social life as well as the Linz Radio FRO. The Free Radio Freistadt is charitable , non-profit based on the principles of the Austrian Free Radios and expressly waives commercial product advertising.
