The journal Gastwirt - Hotelier & Cafetier has a long tradition and was founded in 1952. In 2004, in the 52nd year of the Fachmedium, Dr. Ing. A. Schendl GmbH & Co KG took over the medium and since then publishes the trade journal. With more than 19,800 copies, the innkeeper is not only a stable for many years, but also a high-circulation journal of gastronomy and the hotel industry. The tourism industry is one of the most important economic sectors in Austria and has a very important position worldwide. The aim of the newspaper is to provide the readers with current news from the catering and hotel industry, but also to address legal and tax issues of small and medium-sized businesses.
