The Ziauddin Enterprises group also owns the Ziauddin Hospital and Ziauddin Medical University. The channel is based in Karachi. Its head office is in Clifton near Bilawal Chowrangi. The channel was launched in October, 2010. HTV is Pakistans first health and lifestyle channel functioning 24/7 where all the contents solely focus on health and lifestyle. HTV introduces both health and lifestyle based programs to its audience. Health TV shows are not generally raised in programs on other channels of Pakistan Especially females and aged people watch the programs on Health TV to know many things regarding their routine diet and different health issues.
