The medical newspaper is issued by Läkartidningen Förlag AB, which is owned by the Swedish Medical Association, which is responsible for the content on the Lechartidningen's leading page (Signed) and on special federations in the newspaper. As regards other material, the Medical Journal is publicly independent.Läkartidningen Forlag also organizes symposia and career nights and publishes books.
