“Ma'rib Press” is the first Yemeni news website launched from outside the capital, Sana’a, and it is a news encyclopedia for Yemen whose slogan is “With certainty of news, we put reality in your hands”, it was officially launched at the beginning of the year 2006. The site covers all the news of Yemen, and it employs a group of specialists in the field of media, It also writes the most prominent opinion writers from inside and outside the country, and “Ma'rib Press” aims to contribute to providing media transparency towards political, economic and cultural events in Yemen, and to provide objective and credible news about events as a key entry point to serve democratic development in Yemen, which is impossible. Achieving it without transparency combating political and epistemic ignorance, and providing the opportunity for all parties concerned with any event to express their opinion.
