Midwest Flyer Magazine aims to promote aviation through articles on instrument flight, aircraft maintenance, product reviews, sports pilot & light sports aircraft and more. It has been serving Midwest aviation community since 1978.Dave and Peggy Weiman founded “Wisconsin Flyer” magazine in 1978, renamed the publication “Midwest Flyer Magazine” in 1980, and expanded the area served from one to 12 Midwestern states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Midwest Flyer Magazine has grown from 12 black and white pages in 1978 to 64 colour pages today — more than five times its original size – and circulation has likewise increased.
