This is second satellite TV news channel of North-East India, which is owned by Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. News Live broadcasts regional as well as national and international news and other shows in Assamese and English. It was launched on 21 January 2008. The channel comprises senior journalist Syed Zarir Hussain as editor-in-chief.
