Phulchhab is the Gujarati daily published from Rajkot, Gujarat, India. It was founded in 1921 as a Saurashtra weekly.Shri Amrutlal Sheth, a great patriot and freedom fighter established "Saurashtra Trust" in 1931 and on 9th June 1934, started publishing Gujarati Daily ‘Janmabhoomi’ from Mumbai, with a motto of ‘जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी’ (Mother and motherland are superior to Heaven.)The main aim of establishing the Trust was to publish newspapers and magazines and also to be helpful to social institutions in their work and efforts. This trust is not politically affiliated or associated with any political party.The intention and vision of Saurashtra Trust is to be nationalist in real sense. Trust is committed to its trustworthy news and its neutral analysis. Janmabhoomi Group of publications viz. Janmabhoomi, Janmabhoomi Pravasi (Weekly), Vyapar (Gujarati and Hindi), Phulchhab (Rajkot), Kutchmitra (Bhuj), Kavita (Two monthly) and Janmabhoomi Pachang (Yearly) follows this principle.
